Join us for the Artisan Tour at Ben Owen Pottery in Seagrove, NC, a captivating destination just a 45-minute drive from the Village of Pinehurst. Ben Owen, III, is a potter from Seagrove, North Carolina. His forefathers came to NC from England in late 1700s to ply their craft and furnish storage jars and other utilitarian wares to early settlers. Like his grandfather, Ben III’s pottery reflects a foundation in traditional designs alongside Asian influences.

Your morning adventure begins with an exclusive tour of the facility, where Ben will showcase his incredible skills in action during a pottery demonstration. Explore the expansive gallery filled with unique pieces available for purchase, each one a testament to the artistry and passion of its creator.

After the awe-inspiring presentation, embark on a scenic back roads drive back to the Pine Crest Inn where, you’ll enjoy a judged car show and sumptuous catered lunch. With space limited to just 50 participants, this intimate experience promises to be unforgettable.

To add to the excitement, the Expo’s Longleaf Craftsman trophy made by Ben Owen will be awarded to the winner of the Artisan Tour car show.

Event fee is per person and includes lunch at the Pine Crest Inn.
